We’re putting together the 2010 Schedule at Speed Ventures and all signs point to a 2nd Annual REFUEL event taking place in Monterey at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on July 11th. We’re just starting to plan the event but it will once again involve free track time for electric vehicles. More info coming soon.

Looks like we won’t be doing the Southern California REFUEL event this year. Takes a certain amount of effort (and dough) to put one of these together so we’re storing up our resources to try again for a venue in Northern California next year. We’re just building our 2010 schedule at the moment so with any luck, we’ll announce something by the first of the year.

Speed Ventures’ first ever Alternative Vehicle and Clean Power track day took place on July 19, 2009, at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California. A variety of cars, motorcycles, Karts and a solar car showed up to turn laps on the world-famous home of, among others, the Monterey Historic Automobile Race, American Le Mans and the MotoGP U.S. Grand Prix.
We’ll be posting photos and links to video from this first REFUEL event but we’re already planning our next Alternative Vehicle track day, tentatively scheduled for November in Southern California.
